The MINX S325 is a 5.1 surround package built from five Min22 compact satellite speakers and one X301 subwoofer. It is intended for watching films and listening to music in a small footprint, and it comes in black or white. Speaker stands are not included and are sold separately.
The satellites use wide-field BMR drivers, so they do not need to be aimed directly at the listener to sound good. The speakers are small enough to take up little desk space, and the subwoofer is compact enough to tuck away nearby.
The satellites are passive, and only the subwoofer is powered. The package therefore needs a separate multichannel amplifier or AV receiver to drive the five speakers. A customer review suggests an entry-level receiver as a practical choice for desktop use, since it adds room correction, home theatre filters and streaming features.
