The Home 150 is a mono wireless speaker with two Class-D amplifier channels driving a 25 mm tweeter and an 89 mm woofer. It streams from services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music HD, TIDAL, Qobuz and internet radio over Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth, and is set up and controlled through the free HEOS app. Alexa is built in through integrated microphones that can be switched off, and Siri control is possible via AirPlay 2.
It can be grouped with other HEOS products for multi-room playback, used as a stereo pair, or added as a rear speaker for the Denon Home Sound Bar 550. It can also work with a HEOS subwoofer. Bass and treble can be adjusted, and the top panel has three Quick Select presets, volume, play/pause and a proximity sensor. The speaker supports gapless playback of high-resolution files up to 192 kHz/24-bit FLAC, WAV and ALAC, and DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz.
Connections include dual-band Wi-Fi, an Ethernet port, a USB port for stored music and a 3.5 mm analog input. It runs from mains power only and has no battery. It comes in black or white.
