Ecler NIC-3
The NIC-3 is a 3-inch, 1-way in-ceiling and in-wall loudspeaker rated at 20 W RMS for 70/100 V line or 8 Ω low-impedance systems. It has an IP66 rating and an acoustic back-can, and suits compact installations in retail, hospitality, education and corporate spaces.

The NIC-3 is a compact full-range loudspeaker for ceilings and walls. A 3" woofer handles the whole range, and the enclosure is rated for 20 W RMS, 40 W program and 80 W peak. A built-in high-impedance transformer lets it run on an 8 Ω low-impedance line or on 70 V and 100 V distributed lines.
The rear back-can uses a resonator design intended to support low-frequency output and reduce unwanted resonance when the speaker is fitted in lightweight or suspended ceilings. The IP66 rating covers humid or dusty locations. The aluminium frameless grille attaches with a bayonet fixing and can be removed. The Ecler logo on the grille is also removable. White (RAL 9003) is the standard finish, and a black grille (RAL 9005) is available separately as the NICRG3BK accessory.
Connection is through a 4-pin Euroblock connector on the rear of the baffle. The connector takes cable from 18 AWG to 14 AWG. Two rotating tabs hold the speaker in a 100 mm cut-out in ceilings 10 to 60 mm thick, and a cutting template comes with it. EASE data files are available for system design.
