Debut OW4.2

The Debut 2.0 DOW4.2 is a slim on-wall speaker designed for surround placement on side or rear walls, though it also suits living rooms and home offices. It is a 2-way bass-reflex design with a 4-inch woven aramid-fibre woofer with oversized magnet and a 1-inch cloth-dome tweeter with a wide-roll surround and waveguide, giving a stated response of 70 Hz to 35 kHz. The crossover is set at 2,500 Hz.

The cabinet is CARB2-rated MDF with internal bracing and a black ash vinyl finish. The bass port is on the front baffle, which gives more freedom in positioning against walls. At 6 ohms nominal impedance and 87 dB sensitivity, it is described as easy to drive with most AV receivers and amplifiers, and it handles up to 80 W.

Connection is through 5-way metal binding posts. Slim wall mounts are included, so the speaker can be installed flush on a wall with a minimal profile. It belongs to the Debut 2.0 range alongside bookshelf, floorstanding, centre, Atmos and subwoofer models.
