POG

The POG creates three additional voices from the incoming signal: one octave below, one octave above and two octaves above. Each voice has its own volume control, and these are mixed with the original sound. Tracking is polyphonic and free of glitches, so strummed or arpeggiated chords are handled as well as single notes.

The upper octaves can be detuned using their own dedicated volume controls, which allows 12-string and even 18-string textures. Other uses include drawbar-organ tones and bass-like sounds from a guitar. A lowpass filter with switchable resonance shapes the result, and an input gain control sets the right dynamic range for the source.

The pedal works with any instrument or music source. Bypass is true bypass, switched by a mechanical relay. An 18DC-500 power supply comes with the unit. The pedal was discontinued in 2009, and an owner's manual is available for download.
