Passive 15-inch subwoofer in a bass reflex birch plywood cabinet, rated at 600 W RMS with 125 dB peak SPL. It has integrated rigging points and is aimed at touring, rental and installation systems that need a flyable low-frequency box.

The CAD 115 Sub is a passive, flight-capable subwoofer built around a 15" B&C neodymium woofer with a 3" voice coil, loaded in a bass reflex cabinet. It is rated at 600 W RMS, 1200 W program and 2400 W peak into 8 ohms, with a usable range of 47 Hz to 150 Hz (-6 dB). The dispersion is omnidirectional and the box has no integrated crossover, so it needs external amplification and processing.
The enclosure is 18 mm birch plywood with a two-component textured coating, available in jet black or signal white, with other RAL colours optional and a PU coating for unroofed outdoor installation. The front grille is anticorrosion-coated steel backed with acoustic foam. Four integrated rigging points and two MultiGrip handles are fitted, and the recessed side rigging bars make it mechanically compatible with the CADIS system, including the Rigging/Stacking Frame and the Connector Frame with the CAD 208.
Connection is via NL4 Speakon input and parallel output, or optionally PG cabling with a fixed cable connection. DSP presets and filter sheets are available for Lab.gruppen, Powersoft, LEA Professional, HK Audio DSM 2060 and FIRNET amplifier platforms.
