The PREMIUM PR:O 18 S is a passive subwoofer built around a single 18" cone driver in a bass reflex cabinet. It is rated for 500 W RMS, 1000 W program and 1500 W peak, with a 4 ohm nominal impedance. Frequency response runs from 48 Hz to 150 Hz at -6 dB and from 38 Hz to 150 Hz at -10 dB, with a 129 dB peak maximum SPL.
A system crossover (12 dB/oct. high pass and low pass, 150 Hz crossover frequency) splits the signal. The Satellite Out passes the matching frequency range on to a connected top unit, so the sub and satellite speakers work as one system. Amplifier presets and filter sheets are listed for Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series amplifiers, including limiter settings.
The input and the Satellite Out are both NL4 Speakon connectors. The MDF cabinet has an acrylic enamel finish in jet black (RAL 9005), a steel front grille backed with acoustic foam, two integrated carrying handles, an M20 pole mount socket and preparation for a wheel assembly. It weighs 40 kg.
