Lyra is a USB-C webcam built around a 1/1.5-inch CMOS sensor with 50 megapixels and an F/1.8 aperture. It records true 4K at 30 fps and uses phase detection autofocus. AI-based exposure and white balance tuning adjusts the image automatically, and AI tracking with auto framing keeps one or more speakers in shot. A built-in privacy shutter physically covers the lens.
Audio is handled through the LARK A1 wireless microphone system. The webcam can connect directly to a LARK A1 transmitter without a receiver, at a range of up to 10 metres, and records at 48 kHz/24-bit. Noise cancellation reduces up to 25 dB of background noise. The webcam body also carries a built-in microphone.
HollyStudio software for PC and Mac controls focus, ISO, white balance, brightness and contrast, with green screen removal, overlays, skin smoothing, colour correction and 10 saved camera positions. The Mac version currently offers only basic features and green screen. The webcam mounts magnetically in landscape or portrait orientation and can record 4K30 MP4 clips to a PC while streaming. It is sold alone or as a Streaming Combo that adds a LARK A1 transmitter.
