The MODEL 30 is a premium integrated stereo amplifier rated at 100 watts per channel. It uses a discrete two-stage design intended to keep noise low, combined with Marantz HDAM-SA3 technology, which relies on dozens of hand-selected parts to preserve signal purity and detail. The amplifier topology is Class D.
The unit was voiced by a Marantz Sound Master, who selected the components and tuned the amplifier. It has a phono input that accepts both MM and MC cartridges, so a turntable can be connected directly. It is offered in black and in silver-gold finishes.
The MODEL 30 has no HEOS streaming and no HDMI connection. It is a conventional analogue-focused amplifier, so network streaming would need a separate source component. In the same range, the MODEL 40n adds HEOS and HDMI eARC, while the MODEL 50 is a 70 W Class A/B model.
