The 250i V2 is an analog integrated amplifier that combines preamplifier and power amplifier stages in one chassis. It produces 50 watts per channel into 8 Ω and 100 watts per channel into 4 Ω. Output stages use precision-matched proprietary bipolar transistors, and the circuit is described as running at a low operating temperature. The chassis is rigid to limit the effect of external vibration.
This second version adds a moving-magnet phono preamplifier, so a turntable can be connected directly without a separate phono stage. The phono input has a 47 kΩ impedance and 40 dB of gain. The amplifier also has six line-level inputs, one of which is a 1/8" mini-jack on the front panel for personal media players, plus a 1/4" headphone output on the front.
The amplifier ships with an AC power cable, a CRM-3 remote control with two CR-2032 batteries, a SimLink cable with 1/8" mini plugs on both ends, and an owner's manual. Line inputs accept 370 mV to 3.0 V RMS with 11 kΩ impedance. Line gain is 37 dB.
