The 5090 is a compact centre-channel speaker with two 110 mm mid/bass drivers and a 25 mm tweeter. It is meant for home cinema systems where clear dialogue is the priority, and it comes in four finishes.

The 5090 is the centre-channel model in the 5000 series. It pairs two 110 mm (4.5 in) mid/bass drivers with a 25 mm (1.0 in) tweeter, with a crossover at 2.1 kHz. The cabinet has an effective volume of 7.8 L and measures 164 x 430 x 243 mm.
The mid/bass cones use a single continuous curve profile intended to blend smoothly with the tweeter and to give tighter bass that tolerates placement near walls. Larger magnets and voice coils raise power handling by 50% over a comparable driver with a 25.4 mm voice coil. The tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle, so pressure inside the cabinet and vibration from the mid/bass drivers do not reach it. Internal bracing stiffens the cabinet, and the baffle is laminated with butyl rubber and black acrylic trim with no visible fixings.
The speaker is passive and connects to an amplifier, with a recommended amplifier power of 25-150 W and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. Finishes are Satin Black, Satin White, Santos Rosewood and Holme Oak. A speaker grille and a foam bung are included.
