The BTM-1 combines a stereo Bluetooth speaker with a small guitar amp section. Music streams from a phone or tablet over Bluetooth, and a guitar can be plugged into the dedicated input to play along. The guitar channel has gain, tone and level knobs plus an FX button for a short delay, so sounds can range from clean to analog-style overdrive.
An auxiliary stereo input accepts a second instrument or device, such as a synthesizer or a digital wind instrument, so two people can play together. Bluetooth backing audio can run at the same time as the aux input. A headphone jack mutes the speaker for quiet practice.
The unit has two 5 cm speakers with two passive radiators, a built-in lithium-ion battery rated at about 6 hours of Bluetooth playback, and charges over USB micro-B. It finishes in white and gold, weighs 920 g and measures 264 x 78 x 100 mm.
