The set combines a battery-powered wireless table base, a cardioid gooseneck microphone, a rack-mount receiver and the accessories needed to set it up. The base has an XLR 5 socket for a secure connection to the gooseneck, and the gooseneck has an integrated LED ring. The system is built for speech and for temporary installations such as press conferences or panel discussions.
The base can be charged wirelessly using the Qi standard or through USB. A separate two-device wireless charging base (CHG 2W) is available as an accessory. Dedicated LEDs show the battery state, and the supplied BA 40 accupack runs for typically about 10 hours. Digital transmission uses 24 bit/48 kHz sampling.
The receiver provides an XLR 3-pin male audio output and comes with its power supply and a rackmount kit. All devices in the set can be monitored and controlled remotely with Sennheiser Control Cockpit.
