Descrizione
The 214ce-K SB Plus is a six-string, right-handed Grand Auditorium with a Venetian cutaway. The top is solid torrefied spruce, which is roasted to give an aged, warm character while keeping clarity and projection. The back and sides are two-piece layered Hawaiian koa, finished in gloss with a shaded edgeburst colour and black body binding.
C-Class bracing is used to increase volume, sustain and low-end response, aimed at everything from flatpicking and fingerstyle to live and studio work. The neo-tropical mahogany neck has a standard carve and a matte finish, with a West African Crelicam ebony fretboard, 4mm faux pearl dot inlays and a 1-11/16" nut width.
For amplification, the guitar has Expression System 2 electronics, which use a behind-the-saddle design. It is supplied with an AeroCase and is strung with D'Addario XS coated phosphor bronze light strings. The manufacturer states it is built at its Tecate, Mexico factory.
