ROSIE is a universal-fit in-ear monitor built around eight custom balanced armature drivers per side, arranged as two low, two mid and four high units under the soundrIVe quad-driver design. Its low-frequency drivers can be adjusted from the cable, giving a bass range from flat to +15dB across 10Hz to 100Hz. It uses an integrated 4th-order crossover and a triple-bore stainless steel tube system.

The body, cap and sound bore are each machined from a solid block of aluminum, with a carbon fiber logo plate. FreqPhase time and phase correction together with the steel waveguide is intended to bring each driver's signal to the ear within 0.01 milliseconds. The shells are described as designed for use as a mastering reference tool, with 26dB of noise isolation, and are hand built in the USA.

The earpieces connect to the cable through a 4-pin connector with a machined aluminum locking collar, which also helps keep out sweat and dust. Two Moon Audio cables are supplied, one with a 3.5mm unbalanced plug and one with a 2.5mm balanced plug. The balanced cable was made for the Astell&Kern AK380 balanced output and suits other AK players with a 2.5mm 4-pole terminal.
