The concept mc is a moving-coil cartridge built around a boron cantilever carrying a Micro Line diamond. The stylus is meant to pick up fine groove detail, and the design brings core MC technology into a more affordable class. A related concept mc Signature version shares the same basic construction.
The body is an anodised aluminium-magnesium alloy with a ceramic coating, giving a total system weight of 8.0 g. Output is 0.4 mV at 5 cm/s with an 11 ohm system impedance and copper coils. Channel balance is held within 0.5 dB (0.3 dB on the Signature), with channel separation above 28 dB (above 30 dB on the Signature). Tracking ability is 80 µm at a recommended tracking force of 2.2 g (± 0.2 g).
As a low-output moving-coil design it is intended for a phono stage with MC input. It is available in silver and black, and the manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty when the warranty card is returned within 14 days of purchase.
