Master Innovation
Belt-drive turntable from Clearaudio's Reference Line, built on the Innovation concept with roughly double the platter mass and a magnetic-bearing platter. It is aimed at vinyl enthusiasts who want a heavy, vibration-isolated deck that can carry up to three tonearms.

The Master Innovation is a belt-driven turntable that takes the Innovation design further with more mass, more elaborate decoupling and very steady running. The platter combines a 70 mm resonance-damping plastic top with a 15 mm precision-turned stainless-steel sub-platter, both dynamically balanced. Flywheel mass is almost doubled compared with the Innovation.
A torque-rich 24 V DC motor drives the platter by belt, with electronic speed control and an optical sensor (Optical Speed Control, OSC) holding speed constant. The patented magnetic platter bearing is supported by an additional flywheel, and a magnetic coupling between drive platter and main platter keeps drive disturbances away from the playing surface. The plinth is a sandwich of laminated wood and aluminium with height-adjustable feet.
Three tonearms can be mounted on the one base. The deck is offered in black acrylic or in laminated wood with aluminium. Owners of an Innovation turntable can upgrade to Master Innovation level.
