The Mic Mini 2S is a miniature wireless mic system made up of transmitters, a receiver and a charging case. Each transmitter weighs about 12 g and has roughly 14.5 GB of internal storage, enough for up to 28 hours of 24-bit audio or 22 hours in 32-bit float. It can also be used on its own as a voice recorder. Recordings can be saved as an original or an algorithm-processed file.
Sound processing includes two-level AI noise canceling (Strong and Basic), three voice tone presets (Regular, Rich, Bright) and adaptive gain control with Clipping Control and Loudness Balance modes. Magnetic front covers and windscreens can be swapped, and the transmitter attaches by clip or magnet.
One receiver can pair with up to four transmitters, and it mixes with Mic Mini and Mic Mini 2 units. The receiver has a 3.5 mm TRS output for cameras, phones, tablets and computers. The transmitter can also connect directly to a phone over Bluetooth, to select Osmo cameras through OsmoAudio, or to the Mic Series Mobile Receiver. Settings and firmware updates are handled in the DJI Mimo app.
