The P12 is a passive two-way bookshelf speaker pair, so it needs an external stereo amplifier or receiver to run. Each cabinet is made of MDF to limit cabinet resonance and has a wood-accent finish. A 19mm silk dome tweeter handles high frequencies, and a 116mm bass driver covers the low end. A crossover divides the signal between the two drivers.
A wall-mount bracket is built into each speaker, so the pair can sit on a shelf or desktop or hang on a wall. Each cabinet measures 128mm x 238mm x 168mm and weighs 6kg. The stated frequency response is 55Hz to 20kHz.
The speakers connect to an amplifier or receiver with the two 6-foot speaker cables supplied. They have no built-in wireless features, so voice assistants only work if the receiver supports them. Left and right channel balance is set on the amplifier, for example with a balance knob.
