The USB K810 is an over-ear computer headset that connects through a single USB-A plug and uses its own audio chipset to convert between analog and digital signals, so no separate sound card is needed. It uses 40mm dynamic drivers with a 20Hz–20KHz response and limits output sound pressure to help protect hearing.
The microphone is uni-directional, which helps it pick up the speaker's voice rather than room noise, and its boom is flexible and rotates through 120 degrees for positioning. The self-adjusting retractable headband fits different head sizes, and the narrow-frame ear cups are filled with foam to reduce pressure on the ears.
The headset has a 2.8m cable designed to resist knotting and tangling, and weighs 213g. It is available in more than one colour. It suits teachers, students and home or office users who want a simple wired headset for calls, lessons, films and music.
