The X5 is a pair of true wireless earbuds built around a 6 mm dynamic driver with a 20Hz - 20KHz frequency response. They decode aptX (352kbps at 16bit/44.1kHz) as well as SBC, and use Bluetooth 5.0 with a stated effective range of more than 10m. A low-latency mode is listed among the features.
A dual-microphone array with 8th-generation cVc noise cancellation reduces street noise during calls. The FAQ describes the noise reduction as passive rather than active, and says there is no companion app. Controls are handled by touch on the earbuds. The canal-fit shape is meant to stay in place during exercise, and the IP55 rating covers dust, rain and sweat.
The earbuds give about 6 hours of playback per charge, plus 15 hours more from the charging case. Charging is by USB-C according to the specification list, although the FAQ names a Micro-USB B port for the case, so the port type is worth confirming on the unit. Charging takes about 1.5 hours for the earbuds and 2 hours for the case.
