The OW-VJ63L is a tall on-wall loudspeaker from the Vertex III Custom Series. It pairs a JET folded ribbon tweeter, built on the air motion transformer principle, with two 6-inch woofers in a sealed cabinet. Its frequency response runs from 38 Hz to 50 kHz and the crossover points are 450 Hz and 2,400 Hz. The drivers share the sonic character of the maker's home audio speakers, so they can be mixed with other ranges in a home theater.
The cabinet can be hung vertically or horizontally using four recessed keyhole inserts, or with the supplied brackets. Routed channels at the back let cable sit in the wall cavity so the speaker mounts flush. A switch on the rear changes the tweeter tuning to suit the chosen orientation.
The speaker is connected to an amplifier rated for 40 to 200 watts and presents a 4 ohm nominal impedance. It has a black baffle and a black fabric grille.
