Octave Multiplexer
Analog sub-octave pedal that adds a bass tone one octave below the note played, with a blend control and two filters for shaping the sub signal. It is monophonic, so it suits bass and single-note guitar lines and can also be used on vocals.

The Octave Multiplexer is an analog sub-octave generator in a die-cast chassis. It produces a tone one octave under the played note and mixes it with the dry signal using a wet/dry Blend knob. It tracks single notes only, so chords will not work as intended.
The sub-octave can be shaped with two separate filters. The Bass Filter adjusts the fundamental and lower harmonics of the sub-octave, and a Sub switch brings that filter in or out. The High Filter adjusts the higher harmonics. A footswitch with a status LED engages the effect, and the pedal uses true bypass.
The instrument plugs into the input jack. The Effect Out jack goes to the amplifier, and a separate Dry Out jack is wired directly to the input for running a parallel path. Power comes from a 9V battery, which is included, or from an optional 9.6VDC 200mA adapter sold separately. The pedal was released in 2007 and discontinued in 2021.
