The P1 is a modular preamplifier for audiophile systems. Its base version has line inputs, and optional phono (MM/MC) and three-input digital cards can be added, so it suits listeners who want to expand a hi-fi setup over time.

The P1 is a preamplifier built around low background noise and low distortion. In its original form it provides line inputs, and its two internal slots accept optional cards. One slot takes a RIAA MM/MC phono stage (MPH II), the other a digital module (MDAC I) with three digital inputs handling up to 32 bit resolution at 384 kHz. The P1 FULL version ships with both modules installed.
The unit is operated through a front screen and a dedicated remote control. Its internal software can be updated by the user through an easily accessible USB socket, which allows the preamp to follow changes in formats and options over time.
The P1 belongs to a range made in France at the maker's Burgundy factory. A product sheet, a user notice and a Windows driver for the MDAC I card are provided as downloads for owners.
