Compact two-way bookshelf speaker from the F500S Series, sold as a pair. It uses a 125mm IsoFlare point-source driver with a rear presence switch, for listeners with limited space who want stereo music or home theatre sound.

The F5S is a two-way bookshelf speaker built around a 125mm IsoFlare point-source driver. A 19mm magnesium dome compression tweeter sits at the centre of a multi-fibre bass/mid cone with a FyneFlute roll surround. The tweeter has a neodymium magnet and a vented rear chamber, and its response is quoted as reaching 38kHz.
A downwards-firing port feeds the BassTrax Tractrix diffuser, which spreads bass evenly through 360 degrees and reduces sensitivity to room placement. A rear-facing presence switch adjusts the soundstage by +/- 3dB between 2.5 and 5.0kHz. The cabinet is high-rigidity MDF in Black Oak or Natural Walnut real wood veneer, or Piano Gloss Black.
The speaker has an 8 ohm nominal impedance and 87dB sensitivity, and is matched to amplifiers of 30 to 90 watts RMS. It has dual binding posts for wired connection to an amplifier or AV receiver.
