Descrizione
The IC420 is a set-in-neck electric guitar from Ibanez's Iceman line. Body and three-piece neck are made of Okoume, and the bound Jatoba fretboard carries 22 medium frets and acrylic and abalone block inlays. Scale length is 628 mm (24.75") with a 305 mm fretboard radius.
Two passive ceramic Super 80 humbuckers sit in the neck and bridge positions, each with its own volume and tone knob, and a pickup selector is placed above the neck pickup. The Gibraltar Performer bridge is paired with a Quik Change III tailpiece, which is designed to make string changes quicker. Hardware is finished in gold.
The guitar ships with D'Addario EXL110 strings (.010-.046) and a gig bag. The ABM version is finished in Antique Blue Metallic; the model is also listed in Coral Green Metallic and Gold. As a passive electric guitar it connects to an amplifier through a standard instrument cable.
