The Cube4Nano S is a desktop audio interface with two combo XLR/6.35 mm inputs that accept microphones, line sources or instruments. It records and plays back at up to 24-bit/192kHz in full duplex, with analog mic preamps offering up to 60dB of gain and switchable +48V phantom power. Two balanced 6.35 mm line outputs and two headphone outputs handle monitoring, and an illuminated button switches on direct monitoring.
A 2-inch colour TFT screen shows level meters for inputs, outputs and the OTG stream, while coloured LED rings indicate input gain, headphone, OTG and master levels. Gain and other parameters are set with digital potentiometers, either from the physical controls or from the iO Pro software. BUMP adds low-end presence and SHAPE brightens the top end. The iO Pro software can also host plugins during live streaming.
The unit connects to a computer over USB 2.0 and is class-compliant with macOS and Windows. A separate UNI OTG output carries audio to streaming devices. A power input is provided for cases where the host cannot supply enough power. The chassis is die-cast aluminium with a rubber base, and a software bundle is included.
