The iKeyboard 3Mini is a small controller keyboard with velocity-sensitive piano-style keys. Several velocity curves can be selected. A combined pitch/modulation joystick handles expression, and dedicated buttons cover octave up/down, transpose up/down and sustain.
An arpeggiator is built in, switched on with its own button. A second joystick sets the gate time and arpeggio type, and a tap button sets the tempo. iMap software is included for mapping MIDI functions, and the same software is used to update the firmware over USB. The housing is metal and has a Kensington lock port.
The keyboard connects over USB 2.0 high speed and draws its power from the bus. It is class-compliant and also has a MIDI output jack for external gear. It works with Cubase, Nuendo, Samplitude, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Reaper, Reason and other DAWs. A software bundle is included, with Bitwig 8Track, Dotec audio plugins, the Tracktion DAW Essentials Collection, Kilohearts Toolbox plugins and the Harrison 32c Vocal Intensity Processor plugin.
