The SRM212 V-Class is a portable powered loudspeaker with a 12-inch low-frequency driver, a polymer high-frequency driver on a custom Sym-X horn, and a 2000 W Class-D amplifier. The amp has a universal 100-240 VAC supply with Power Factor Correction, so it keeps running when mains power is unstable. Processing includes FIR-based Advanced Impulse DSP, multi-band system protection and Intelligent Bass Management for tight low end at high levels.
A 4-channel digital mixer is built in. Two channels take mic, line or instrument signals on XLR/TRS combo inputs, and a stereo 1/8-inch aux channel covers playback devices. A colour display gives access to channel levels, EQ, voicing modes, crossover, alignment delay up to 100 ms and 10 user presets. A system lock with a 4-digit passcode is included.
The SRM Connect app for iOS and Android controls the speaker wirelessly. Two SRM V-Class speakers can be linked over Bluetooth, in stereo or dual-zone mode, for music streaming and control of both from one view. The dual-angled cabinet works upright or as a floor wedge, on a pole mount, or flown from M10 fly points.
