The JVM410 Head is a four-channel, 100-watt valve amplifier head. Each channel has three selectable modes, giving twelve different voicings that range from clean to high-gain distortion. Every channel has its own gain, three-band EQ, volume and reverb settings, and a switchable master volume lets each channel sit at a different level. Settings can be stored, and the head carries a digital reverb.
Two effects loops are fitted, one series/parallel and one series, so pedals and outboard gear can be placed where they suit in the signal chain. A silent recording mode uses the emulated XLR line out together with the standby switch, so the amp can be recorded without driving a speaker cabinet.
The power stage uses four EL34 valves and the preamp uses ECC83 valves. Speaker connection is through five 1/4" sockets covering 16, 8 and 4 ohm loads. MIDI In, MIDI Thru and a footswitch input handle remote control. The head is designed, engineered and hand-assembled in the maker's UK factory and is finished in black.
