Descrizione
The D-18 is a dreadnought-sized acoustic with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, built with a dovetail neck joint. The 2025 Standard Series update uses Sitka spruce Golden Era scalloped bracing in a forward-shifted X pattern, along with a reworked neck profile, thinner fingerboard and refined bridge and heel.
The neck is a satin Golden Era Modified Low Oval with a high-performance taper, a 25.4" scale length and 20 frets, joining the body at the 14th fret. The ebony fingerboard has abalone dot inlays and a 1 3/4" nut width. Hardware includes nickel open-gear tuners, a bone nut, a compensated bone saddle, and an ebony bridge and bridge pins. The top is finished in gloss with an Aging Toner colour, a faux tortoise pickguard and an Old Style 18 multi-stripe rosette.
The guitar is fully acoustic with no onboard electronics, so it has no outputs. It ships pre-strung with phosphor bronze medium strings and comes in a hardshell case. It is offered in right- and left-handed versions and is Pleked.
