The StudioDeck is a two-speed (33 1/3 and 45 RPM) belt-drive turntable designed and manufactured in the USA. A stepped Delrin pulley on a 300 RPM AC synchronous motor selects the speed, and the motor is decoupled from the rest of the deck with damping materials so its vibration stays away from the platter and stylus.
The plinth combines an aluminum plate bonded to an MDF body (constrained-layer damping) and sits on anti-vibration feet developed with Harmonic Resolution Systems. The platter is 3/4-inch Delrin and turns on a steel, bronze and Teflon inverted bearing. The 10-inch straight aluminum tonearm uses a gimbaled bearing and provides adjustment for tracking force, VTA, azimuth and anti-skate.
It is offered in several versions: a Foundation model without dust cover but with the StudioTracker cartridge, a model with no cartridge, and StudioDeck+, +U and +M versions supplied with the StudioTracker, UltraTracker and MasterTracker cartridges respectively.
