Fenestria is a floor-standing, three-way loudspeaker from PMC's fact range, built around Advanced Transmission Line bass loading and a decoupled, baffle-less mid/treble 'nest'. It suits listeners who want a large, high-end passive speaker for a dedicated home hi-fi system.

Fenestria is the top model in PMC's fact series, a passive three-way floor-standing speaker with a 6.5" carbon-fibre bass driver, a 75mm soft-dome midrange and a 19.5mm SONOMEX soft-dome tweeter. Bass is handled by PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) loading, with an effective line length of 2 x 2.4m, and the stated frequency response runs from 23Hz to 25kHz.
The midrange and tweeter sit in a sculpted 'nest' that is mechanically decoupled from the cabinet through four isolation mounts, so there is no conventional baffle. The cabinet sides are designed to move against unwanted bass vibration and cancel it, a concept borrowed from earthquake damping in tall buildings.
Connection is through three pairs of Hex-Rhodium 4mm binding posts that take 4mm plugs, spades or bare wire. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms and sensitivity is 86dB at 1W, 1m. Recommended amplifier power is 30W to 1000W. Each speaker is 1700mm tall and weighs 80kg including its plinth.
