The StudioLive Series III SE 16 is a digital mixing console with 17 touch-sensitive motorized faders in a split-fader layout, 40 channels and 26 buses. Processing runs on a dual-core FLEX DSP engine with 32-bit floating-point internal processing. All seven EQs and eight compressors from the Fat Channel Collection are included, along with extended digital reverb presets and a variable limiter release.
Routing includes 16 FlexMixes that can be set up as auxes, subgroups or matrix mixes, plus four effects buses, four subgroups and 24 DCAs. Eight scribble strip displays assist with channel naming and quick visual access. The console has 17 XMAX-Remote preamps with digital recall.
For recording, channels and mixes can be captured to an onboard SD recorder or over the 64x64 USB 2.0 interface, with Capture software providing one-click virtual soundcheck and Fender Studio Pro integration. AVB networking connects to StudioLive Stage Boxes and Milan-compatible I/O. Remote control is available through Metro remote access, Universal Control on tablets and mobile devices, and QMix-UC for personal monitor mixes.
