The Stereo Box DS3 is a reworked integrated amplifier built in a machined full-aluminium case, designed and handmade in Europe. It outputs 2x 150 W into 4 ohms (80 W into 8 ohms) and uses a dual mono design with an analogue, motor-driven volume potentiometer. A remote control is supplied for volume and input switching.
Inputs are one phono stage switchable between MM and MC, three RCA line inputs and a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver supporting aptX, aptX HD and the A2DP profile. A headphone output provides 2x 450 mW into 32 ohms. Wooden side panels are sold separately, and the amplifier comes in black or silver.
Speakers connect to gold-plated terminals that accept 4 mm banana plugs, spades or bare wire. A variable RCA output serves a subwoofer or another power amplifier, while a fixed RCA output is unaffected by the volume control and can feed a recorder or a second zone. Trigger input and output connectors are also included.
