7000LRi

The 7000LRi is a left/right pair of small sealed two-way speakers built into D-shaped cast aluminium enclosures. Each speaker has two 3" long-throw neodymium bass/mid drivers arranged in a D'Appolito layout around a 1" neodymium ring radiator tweeter. The drivers are large relative to the cabinet, which gives the pair enough bandwidth to work as standalone stereo speakers and not only as surround effects.

Each speaker comes with a table mount and ball joint that allows it to be angled in many directions. Rotating the mount 180 degrees on the ball joint turns it into a wall bracket that hangs on screws through key-hole fixings. The key-hole fixings in the base also allow ceiling mounting. An optional slim floor stand is available separately.

The speakers are suited to home cinema systems as surround channels, including 7.1 setups or 5.1 plus a second stereo zone on a 7-channel AV receiver. They can also be combined with the matching 7070Si compact subwoofer for extended low-frequency output. Connection is by conventional passive speaker cable from an amplifier or receiver. Finishes are black and white.
