Cab-Link
Passive speaker cabinet merger that lets a guitar or bass player connect a single amplifier speaker output to two cabinets, wired in series or parallel. It also has a level-controlled line output for feeding a second amp or effects unit.

The Cab-Link is a compact, fully passive box that splits one amplifier speaker output across two speaker cabinets. The amp head connects to either a series input or a parallel input, and the unit reconfigures itself according to the input used. A guide printed on the top panel shows which input best matches the impedance between amplifier and cabinets.
Two speaker outputs go to the cabinets. In series, two 8 Ohm cabinets can be used with a 16 Ohm amplifier output; in parallel, two 8 Ohm cabinets can be run from a single 4 Ohm amplifier output.
A separate line output with its own level control can feed the input of another amplifier or an effects unit, for example in a wet/dry setup with a second amp. Because the unit is passive, it needs no power supply. Connections are made with standard speaker cables.
