The Dominance 2002 MK2 is a two-channel power amplifier from Reloop's Dominance MK2 series, which is offered in three power classes of 360, 720 and 960 watts. This is the 960 watt model. It is intended for gastronomy, business and club sound systems, and it delivers 2x 480 W at 4 ohms or 2x 310 W at 8 ohms.
The design uses separate amplifier circuits for channel A and channel B, newer transistors and a large aluminium cooling tunnel with oversized cooling fins, supported by a heavy duty fan. Protection covers overload, short circuits and overheating, and a ground/lift switch helps with background noise.
Signal comes in over XLR or RCA connectors. Speakers connect through PA speaker cord outputs with screw clamps. The unit is 483 mm wide and 88 mm high, which corresponds to a 19-inch rack format, and an instruction manual is available as a PDF download.
