RD-800
The RD-800 is an 88-key stage piano with a weighted PHA-4 hammer-action keyboard, aimed at gigging and touring keyboardists. It combines acoustic and electric piano engines, organs and synths with live-oriented controls and master MIDI keyboard functions.

The RD-800 is a stage piano built around the SuperNATURAL Piano engine, with additional SuperNATURAL electric piano and clav sounds, Virtual Tone Wheel organs and a PCM generator. The instrument holds 1,113 tones and 200 Live Sets, which store tone layers, split point, effects and other settings for recall during a performance. Polyphony is 128 voices.
The 88-note PHA-4 Concert Keyboard has escapement and Ebony/Ivory Feel surfaces. Piano Designer and Individual Note Voicing allow detailed shaping of the SuperNATURAL Piano sounds, and a Tone Color knob changes stereo width, morphs between electric piano models or boosts presence depending on the selected tone. Effects include modulation, tremolo/amp simulator, reverb, delay, compressor and a five-band equalizer. Dedicated knobs have illumination, and a 320 x 240 colour LCD shows the settings.
Outputs are balanced XLR and 1/4-inch, with a headphone jack and a stereo mini input. Four pedal jacks, MIDI IN/OUT/THRU, USB to computer and a USB memory port are provided. WAV recording and playback and backup to USB flash memory are supported, and the unit also works as a master MIDI keyboard.
